Still, Claire Underwood is president now, thanks to Frank bringing about his own downfall. He tells Claire that he was the leak, along with Doug, and that this is what’s best for them. Now these two have been completely honest with each other, both understanding what they’ll do to secure power. They’re allies for now, consolidated in their power, but things aren’t exactly going to be easy moving forward. Claire not only needs to pardon Frank for all potential crimes so that he doesn’t go to jail, but she must worry about her own cabinet and policies now that she’s the president.
All of this is established during an opening monologue from Frank, as he muses on the beauty of “flipism,” the idea that major decisions should be decided by the flip of a coin. Frank may tout the benefits of such a philosophy, but there’s no way he’s leaving this vote to chance. “Chapter 57” suffers from a structure similar to its previous episode; much of the episode is focused on phone calls and meetings.

There’s the tossed-off death of Eric, who climbs the fence outside the White House during a war protest, only to be shot by the Secret Service on site. She can’t believe Frank would make a sudden decision without running it by her first. But Frank insists that this has been his plan all along. He says that every single thing that’s happened since his visit to Elysian Fields — that retreat for high-powered men — has been part of his plan.
Season 4 gave us plenty of scandals, controversies, drama and divide (remind you of our current president?) but the closing scene revealed that Underwood would be a wartime president against ICO. We’re also midway through an election cycle too with things heating up there. Add to that the damning story the Herald launched on the Underwoods. They’ve been forced into a corner and will come out fighting. Adding to Season 5's assorted woes is the "stranger than fiction" aspect of 2017 politics, but the series, like Underwood, endures. This documentary comes just under a year after the two-time Oscar winner was cleared of all charges in London.

It’s so far removed from the rest of the episode that it makes an impact. It’s been 9 weeks since Election Day, and nobody is sure what’s happening. The House and Senate are on their way to deciding the president and the vice president, respectively, but nobody really knows how it’s all going to play out. There’s chaos everywhere in Washington, as the government deals with an undecided, uncertified vote that’s left everything at a standstill.
With the exception of the date, one of the main draws from this trailer is that season 5 will likely be a lot darker than the previous seasons. The flag being once again upside down (although flipped from the main logo) show’s that it’s business as usual for the Underwoods. The flag being upside down, in case you didn’t know, is often used to signal distress. The dark clouds covering the background along with the Pledge of Allegiance being spoken by kids over the top. If Claire ignoring her husband’s phone call in the final scene is any indication, this power dynamic switcheroo may not turn out to be all that Frank expected. But Claire’s very much ready for it, which is why she finally addresses the audience directly.
It’s a soothing bright spot in Doug’s life, and for a moment, there’s a chance that these two workaholics could end up comforting each other. But she dies in a government conspiracy car crash instead. Frank never did accept his old main squeeze’s invite to the river in the first season. Several seasons later, Tim has dropped dead on one of those very same nature trips.

I recently bought into a three-person partnership in a 1978 R182. The aircraft has very few bad habits but must be carefully managed during final approach, touchdown and rollout. I have been the happy and proud owner of a 1979 Cessna 182 Turbo RG for two years. My wife and I chose it for the combination of cabin size, stability, comfort, ease of entry, speed, range and payload.

The tri-gear landing gear created the nose-heavy propensity that remains with Skylanes to this day. If you compare the airspeeds in the chart in Figure 4 to those in Figure 1, you will see the airspeeds are 8 knots or so higher at 8,000 ft at high power settings. These aircraft can get up and go with newer models offering a max range of 915 nautical miles, about the distance from Central Illinois to New York. Its speed tops out at 175ktas, though cruise speeds fall quite a bit lower. With its 87-gallon fuel tank, you can easily fly 6 -7 hours from a single takeoff. Max climb is 924 fpm, which outdoes a Cessna 172 by more than 200 feet.
By reducing the amount of fuel flowing through the engine on the ground, you’re doing all you can do to reduce lead accumulation on the pistons and exhaust valves. The only time you again need full-rich mixture between cruise and touchdown is if you suddenly have to go around. If an airplane unexpectedly pulls onto the runway when you’re on short final, there will be time to advance the mixture and throttle. A second reason to get in the habit of landing with 20 degrees of flaps is because it reduces the number of tasks required to transition from a landing configuration to power-up-and-go settings. Unless noise is a concern, there’s no reason to reduce power soon after takeoff.
Introduced in 1956, the 182 has been produced in a number of variants, including a version with retractable landing gear, and is the second-most popular Cessna model still in production after the 172. Now it’s common knowledge within the aviation community that even though a Cessna 172 sports 4 seats, often it’s not the best choice to fly with 4 full-sized adults. Depending on the aircraft configuration, it’s important to note that the Cessna 172 may not support a full tank and 3 additional passengers. Even though the 182 does not drastically differ, it still offers a better utility and increased weight and balance parameters. This often makes it possible to carry 4 adults as passengers with the 182 platform versus the 172. Due to the increased weight from the Cessna 182S models onwards, the aircrafts center of gravity has become an issue depending on the loading arrangements.

This compounded with a relatively heavy nose that requires finer and more constant trimming changes than other aircraft in its class. Original Skylane models are slightly more responsive and maneuverable, with a wing loading of 15.2 lbs/sq ft. The weight increase over the years increased this value to 17.8 lbs/sq ft. The standard-breathing Skylane RG suffers a slightly lower service ceiling than the stiff-legged airplane, because of the additional weight of turbocharging. Predictably, the heavy breather does its best work up high and is approved for 75 percent cruise at 20,000 feet. This means that critical altitude (the maximum height at which the engine can produce sea-level power) is about 14,000 feet. The 1956 Cessna 182 had a gross weight of 2,550 pounds, had a useful load of 1,000 pounds, and fuel capacity of 55 gallons. They delivered a 135-knot cruise speed and 1,200-foot per minute climb thanks to its Continental O-470-L engine.
Most of the noise comes from the propeller so if you need to reduce noise to be a good neighbor, reduce the rpm. Wait until the oil temperature gets to 100° F (38° C) before doing your pre-takeoff “mag check” runup. It’s perfectly okay to do the mag check with the mixture leaned—you can’t hurt the engine. If it’s too lean, the engine will slowly lose power; just push the mixture in slightly and continue the checks detailed on the checklist. That speed will allow for a gradual warm up and get the oil splashing around inside the engine. After some experimentation, I found that the sweet spot for oil was nine quarts in the Continental O-470-R engine in my 182.
This will let Lycoming owners take full advantage of lean-of-peak mixture settings, if desired. Jesch, who flew us to AirVenture and back in 2016, uses a very simple power management plan. The throttle is left wide open (except for the twitch) and rpm is adjusted to the top of the green band.

What are your Rental Center office hours?
For example, for departures between September 4, 2019, and December 31, 2019, from any of Cruise America’s North American rental centers, a mileage rate reduction of 50% applies. Another deal is 300 free miles for departures by December 31, 2019, in the US. Aside from a nightly fee, Cruise America applies estimated mileage charges to your rental in advance. Mileage charges are per night based on 100 miles for round-trip rentals and 250 miles for one-way rentals. In other words, you will be charged 100 miles per day with round-trip rental and 250 miles per day for one-way rental. Upon return, all extra charges, if any, are balanced against the security deposit and a refund is issued to the credit card used on the rental agreement.
Optional fees
A fee of up to $250 will be charged if the interior of the vehicle has not been cleaned. Damages or loss of equipment will be paid for by the renter. Holding tank must be emptied prior to return of the vehicle or be subject to an additional dump charge of up to $100. The charge will be a per night charge based on 100 miles for a local rental and 250 miles for a one-way rental. At the end of the rental you will be refunded for any excess mileage charges, or be charged at the rate of 39¢ for additional miles in excess of the estimated mileage. Cruise America does reserve the right to modify the estimated mileage charge based on the type of rental.
What deposits are required?
In locations with colder winter weather, Cruise America winterizes their motorhomes from around mid-October to late March. When winterized, you cannot use the RV’s water and holding tanks. Due to this, if you chose to have the motorhome de-winterized, you will need to pay an up to $40 fee. Given that Cruise America rents out RVs for at least 7 days, your fees per night will likely quite easily exceed the $300 down payment deposit. Speaking of cash, the $500 security deposit needs to be paid with a credit card. If you are using any means other than a credit card, the security deposit charge will be $1,000.

On a previous visit, we did one of the Dolphin Encounters and that was also a great time. Another note- towels are not available until 9am and then there is always a long line when the towel stands first open, as it’s also where you get your wristbands for the day. So get fresh towels and take them to your room at night if you plan to hit the pool or beach early.

There was also an awesome water slide among the Mayan slides that ended by going past a bunch of sea life through a clear tube.

You may have heard about Atlantis in the past but you may not entirely be sure what there is to do there. For those who are visiting as part of a day trip on a cruise, the biggest attraction is the Aquaventure Water Park. According to Atlantis’ website, the water park is spread out over 141 acres, much of which is lined with beaches. The park has a number of water slides as well as a “rapids river”, which is a combination of a lazy and not-so-lazy river.
If you want to enjoy the best view without breaking your bank account, I recommend staying at Comfort Suites Paradise Island or Warwick Paradise Island. If you’re heading towards Atlantis on a cruise, the nearest port of call is Nassau Cruise Port. The good news is it only takes 15 minutes from Nassau Cruise Port to reach Atlantis Bahamas. The marina area (near the Royal and Coral Towers) is definitely worth a stroll, as this is where you’ll find all the fancy private yachts that dock at Atlantis. We enjoyed ogling them while eating our pizza from Marina Pizzeria.
