We do not accept stored value, prepaid, or gift cards for the estimated rental charges or security deposit. Paying by debit, Interac, or Discover cards in Canada is unavailable. The motorhomes are only equipped with a receiver hitch, so you would need to provide your own tow bar. No towing apparatus or hook-up services are provided under any circumstances. Customer must declare intention to tow prior to departure and warrant that towing weight is within 2,500 lb. Cruise America provides no collision or liability coverage for damage to the towed object or for third- party injury inflicted by the towed object, under any circumstances.
What are your Rental Center office hours?
For example, for departures between September 4, 2019, and December 31, 2019, from any of Cruise America’s North American rental centers, a mileage rate reduction of 50% applies. Another deal is 300 free miles for departures by December 31, 2019, in the US. Aside from a nightly fee, Cruise America applies estimated mileage charges to your rental in advance. Mileage charges are per night based on 100 miles for round-trip rentals and 250 miles for one-way rentals. In other words, you will be charged 100 miles per day with round-trip rental and 250 miles per day for one-way rental. Upon return, all extra charges, if any, are balanced against the security deposit and a refund is issued to the credit card used on the rental agreement.
Optional fees
A fee of up to $250 will be charged if the interior of the vehicle has not been cleaned. Damages or loss of equipment will be paid for by the renter. Holding tank must be emptied prior to return of the vehicle or be subject to an additional dump charge of up to $100. The charge will be a per night charge based on 100 miles for a local rental and 250 miles for a one-way rental. At the end of the rental you will be refunded for any excess mileage charges, or be charged at the rate of 39¢ for additional miles in excess of the estimated mileage. Cruise America does reserve the right to modify the estimated mileage charge based on the type of rental.
What deposits are required?
In locations with colder winter weather, Cruise America winterizes their motorhomes from around mid-October to late March. When winterized, you cannot use the RV’s water and holding tanks. Due to this, if you chose to have the motorhome de-winterized, you will need to pay an up to $40 fee. Given that Cruise America rents out RVs for at least 7 days, your fees per night will likely quite easily exceed the $300 down payment deposit. Speaking of cash, the $500 security deposit needs to be paid with a credit card. If you are using any means other than a credit card, the security deposit charge will be $1,000.
With Cruise America RV rental, you never have to worry about returning your RV to its original location. Instead, you can book a one-way RV rental from any of our 132 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. All in all, renting an RV is a great and easy way to see the country! Your biggest challenge may be finding the RV you want, especially if you're booking for a popular time. Wondering how much it costs to rent an RV and curious about what factors influence RV rental prices? Cruise America is happy to explain it all to you and to get you on the road faster while saving money.
Is the customer responsible for any maintenance of the motorhome?
The floorplan features a unique rear kitchen design with all the amenities of a larger unit. The compact RV is the ideal unit for two adults of any age and a dinette folding to an extra bed allows for a child. With 6.5 foot/2 meter ceilings and walk through convenience even tall campers can enjoy the compact plus RV.
What if the motorhome breaks down?
These kits are the Vehicle Provisioning Kit and the Personal Kit. If you need a change after booking and confirmation (aside from changing party size and adding pre-paid items), the rate will be recalculated using the most current Flex Rate. This Flex Rate will be compared to the Flex Rate that you’ve booked an RV with. The higher rate of the two will be selected as a new Flex Rate. Upon the return of the vehicle, Cruise America accepts stored value/prepaid/gift cards. Lastly, there are no universal standards that apply to Recreational vehicles.

With a pressurized fresh water tank our RV/Marine toilet feels more like home. A large capacity sewage tank allows you to stop less and is easy to use. If you're open to a one-way RV rental, you may want to ask about a "relocation deal". In this case, you get an RV for a one-way rental at a discounted price because you're effectively relocating that RV to another retailer location across the country. Now, there are definitely ways to save money on an RV rental you might not have considered at first. At Cruise America we have the best deals around on rentals and campgrounds.
A traditional motorhome with the self-contained features you expect. As for RV return, regular renters are required to return the vehicle by 9 AM and no later than 11 AM. As we mentioned above, Cruise America imposes a $25 fee for each hour past 11 AM. At the same time, no refunds will be made if you return the vehicle early or if you pick it up late. If you plan to tow a car or boat behind the motorhome, keep in mind that Cruise America imposes towing charges of $25 per night. If you didn’t use up the $500 security deposit, Cruise America will issue a credit to cover the refund.
Start out in Vancouver, Seattle or Portland and travel south down the coast to San Francisco, Los Angeles or San Diego. Watch as the scenery shifts from the rocky cliffs and historic lighthouses of the Pacific Northwest to the sunny beaches and towering palms of Southern California. A fully self-contained RV with all the amenities of a larger unit and can accommodate two adults. Hipcamp is the best way to discover and book RV camping—everywhere from national parks to blueberry farms.
Then again, there are times throughout the year when special deals are offered by Cruise America. If you're flexible with scheduling, you can get quite a bargain. Simply send your things off with the movers or pack your one-way rental, and experience the ease of RV moving with Cruise America.
You have limited options when it comes to fees and RV selection. The generator charge is $3.50 per hour as determined by an installed running time meter. You can save on this expense by staying in locations that have electrical hookups and not leaving the generator running when you are not in the vehicle. Most motorhomes based in the United States and large size motorhomes in Canada are equipped with generators. A generator is only needed for the coach air conditioner, microwave and electrical outlets.
So even though one-way rental has some nice benefits, you will be rather limited with drop-off locations. Let’s begin with the rental options offered by Cruise America. A top-choice, economical family unit for those seeking the walk-through convenience of a motorhome.
With peer-to-peer rental, not everyone is going to allow you to bring along pets. One very common complaint with Cruise America is their poor selection of RVs. As a corporate rental company, Cruise America has its own RV fleet. On the other hand, Cruise has “more than 120 rental locations” in the United States and Canada, which is very little given that they are servicing almost the entire North America.
For other tolling services like EZ Pass lanes or Fastrack, it will be your responsibility to use a corresponding transponder in order to avoid any fees or penalties. For repairs costing under $75, you may have repairs done, but you will need to keep the receipt with you for reimbursement. Rental centers will reimburse receipts under $75 without a service log. If a repair service costing over $75 isn’t documented by Cruise America, you will not be provided with a reimbursement. You will then need to return the vehicle at the specified date between 9 AM and 3 PM. Regular renters need to return the vehicle by 9 AM and in no case later than 11 AM.
Aquaventure, Atlantis Paradise Island’s Water Park, is a one-of-a-kind 141 acre waterscape. Visiting Atlantis from the Nassau Cruise Port offers an exciting opportunity to explore one of the most iconic resorts in the Bahamas. Whether you choose to travel by taxi, water taxi, shuttle bus, or even on foot, there are various transportation options available to suit your preferences and budget. There are a number of taxis waiting just outside of the gate after you leave the port. We didn’t have any issues whatsoever with either of our taxi trips, and if you use one of the services that combine passengers from multiple cruise ships the price is only $5 per person each way.

On this trip, my son did the Junior Trainer for a Day program, a four hour kids only program that had them interacting with dolphins, sea lions, tropical birds, turtles, and more. On a previous visit, we did one of the Dolphin Encounters and that was also a great time. Another note- towels are not available until 9am and then there is always a long line when the towel stands first open, as it’s also where you get your wristbands for the day. So get fresh towels and take them to your room at night if you plan to hit the pool or beach early.

Disney Cruises also offers a 6.5 to 7 Hour experience at the Ocean Club Golf Course for $599.00 including Green fees, clubs, golf cart and shoe rentals but not including beverages and meals. I think the favorite activity among our family was definitely the Rapids River. It had a mix of calm, slow moving water and spots where you would go down rapids. The rapids weren’t too much for anyone in our group, and I would think that ages 8 and up would be great at a minimum. We also enjoyed the water slides but didn’t make it to the most challenging ones. There was also an awesome water slide among the Mayan slides that ended by going past a bunch of sea life through a clear tube.

Additionally, be mindful of the weather conditions, especially during hot and humid days. It’s important to keep in mind that while the water taxi is a scenic and enjoyable option, it may not be practical for those with limited mobility or large amounts of luggage. The boats can sometimes be crowded during peak times, so it’s advisable to plan your timing accordingly.

They also ran out of towels completely at several points during our stay. Note that the majority of the water slides require kids to be at least 48″ tall, so that’s something to consider if bringing younger kids along. We held off on staying at Atlantis until our son was tall enough to enjoy everything. The Cove – The Cove and The Reef are located on the far side of the property, and are both an upgrade from the Royal. Cove is home to upscale suites and features access to an adult only pool area (although the hotel itself is family friendly). The resort itself is massive as well, five hotel towers are sprawled across the property, which includes an amazing 140+ acre waterpark.
This tour by Shore Excursions Group is just 2 Hours and 30 Minutes long, costing $57.00. The water park itself is large so finding our way around was a slight learning curve. We finally locked down a beach chair that was between the Mayan Pyramid slides, the near-Pandora looking slides and the Rapids River. This made it easier for everyone to find each other at a somewhat central location. You may have heard about Atlantis in the past but you may not entirely be sure what there is to do there. For those who are visiting as part of a day trip on a cruise, the biggest attraction is the Aquaventure Water Park. According to Atlantis’ website, the water park is spread out over 141 acres, much of which is lined with beaches. The park has a number of water slides as well as a “rapids river”, which is a combination of a lazy and not-so-lazy river.
If you want to enjoy the best view without breaking your bank account, I recommend staying at Comfort Suites Paradise Island or Warwick Paradise Island. If you’re heading towards Atlantis on a cruise, the nearest port of call is Nassau Cruise Port. The good news is it only takes 15 minutes from Nassau Cruise Port to reach Atlantis Bahamas. The marina area (near the Royal and Coral Towers) is definitely worth a stroll, as this is where you’ll find all the fancy private yachts that dock at Atlantis. We enjoyed ogling them while eating our pizza from Marina Pizzeria.
The five star all-suite accommodation showcases chic contemporary style, inspired by the beach and surf surroundings. While the stunning open-air lobby and open-plan suites all afford panoramic views of this spectacular setting. Among a number of exclusive amenities that guests can enjoy is access to The Cove Pools, an adults-only pool and beach club with live DJs, outdoor gaming and private cabanas. The idyllic Bahamas backdrop sets the scene for your unforgettable stay at Atlantis Paradise Island. Then there is the quite literally incredible range of facilities – including its own waterpark, Aquaventure – encompassing 20 million gallons of water surging through a lush landscape.
The redesigned spacious contemporary rooms and suites are wrapped in ocean hues and soft palettes of coral and sandy golds, highlighting a serene beach atmosphere. A new poolscape, lobby and ice cream parlour complete the picture of the highlights of this new look. Among all the great pools, the Cove Pool, Mayan Temple Pool, and Cascades Pool are my favorites. For kids, there is a Poseidon’s Playzone pool with many water slides, fountains, and water cannons for endless fun.
From the airport, it’s easiest to get a taxi, as there are always plenty waiting as you exit baggage claim. There is no need to book a transfer ahead of time, unless you have some special needs (like wheelchairs or car seats). While most people think the resort is in Nassau, it actually sits on Paradise Island, a smaller island that sits just offshore from the main island of New Providence. Tucked in between the two, you’ll find the cruise port where the major cruise ships dock each day.

Make your cruise even more special by adding a few extra days to your holiday. Some of the world’s largest ships dock in this city but it’s also an interesting place to visit. LondonThis one is self-explanatory, it’s the UK’s capital city and bursting with things to see, do, eat and experience. Trains from Southampton Central run throughout the day to London Waterloo. Southampton offers a huge variety of things to see and do and it’s also the gateway to exploring places further afield, such as London and the New Forest. Numerous cruises depart the city every year and just as many ships visit as part of a British Isles cruise itinerary.
Moxy Bar
Due to its central location close to the Maritime Museum and Guildhall, parking is an additional daily fee. There are lots of things to consider when booking hotels in Southampton UK near the port. Price, convenience, standard of luxury, options for Cruise and Stay Parking and the distance from the port can all influence your choice. It makes sense to choose a hotel with a shuttle service or one closer to the port for a shorter (cheaper!) taxi journey.
Getting to Southampton Cruise Terminals from London

If you’re looking for the most affordable hotel there are several places that can compete for that, and the Sunrise Hotel is the closest. Most people who stay here are cruising out of the Long Beach Cruise Terminal, but it’s really not that far from the World Cruise Center, and it’s a fantastic hotel. It’s unclear if their Park and Cruise package applies if you aren’t cruising out of Long Beach, though, so double-check with them before you plan on that.
SeaCity MuseumSeaCity Museum tells the story of the people of the city, their fascinating lives and historic connections with Titanic and the sea. Where to Stay Pre and Post Cruise ?
It’s under a mile from the terminal and reachable in minutes. This newly renovated hotel offers great rooms at an equally great price. The staff are friendly and you’ll find ample parking here, too. The only real downside is that, while it’s not that far, it still isn’t as close to the Port as some of the other hotels we’ve listed here.

Wyndham has a habit of buying sketchy hotel chains and renovating them into something much better. If you’ve had a bad experience at a Travelodge before, forget about it.
An affordable and comfortable option with free wifi, free breakfast, and a pool. Like a lot of budget options, there’s not much to say about it other than that you’ll get a clean bed and good room at a lot price. For budget travelers looking to save most of their money for the cruise itself, it’s hard to go wrong with the Quality Inn. This is a surprisingly nice little hotel in the middle of an affluent neighborhood. It’s not the closest hotel to the cruise terminal, but it’s not that far away, either, and the rooms are nice. It’s a budget chain, so you won’t get the same amenities you’d find at a Hilton.

If you are joining a cruise, and should wish to leave your vehicle at the hotel, for any additional days outside your stay, the cost is £15.00 per day.
City centre hotels and bed & breakfasts are only a short walkfrom pubs, parks, and restaurants. This is another hotel that falls into the no-frills/no-problems category. It’s not incredible, but it’s clean, quiet, and you won’t have any problems with your stay. It’s affordable, too, so budget-conscious travelers may want to take a close look at this one. You won’t find many budget hotels as highly rated as this one.
Beautiful beaches are within walking distance, as are world-classs restaurants and some of the best shopping in Los Angeles. One of the more upscale hotels, the DoubleTree is a bit more expensive than others but you do get what you pay for, and the DoubleTree has a lot going for it. Like many hotels in the area, they offer free parking for the duration of your cruise if you book with them. If you choose to do that, the hotel shuttle will take you to the cruise terminal and pick you up when you return.
Most of them are actually a few miles away, and they won’t necessarily be catering to cruise passengers. Since you’re most likely only staying there for one or two nights, that should be fine. Here, you can get a close-up view of 19 windmills, including the chance to look inside some of them, watch a movie and learn how the Dutch manage to live on land that sits below sea level. The gift shop at the entrance is a great place to buy another famous Dutch symbol -- a pair of wooden clogs. Many springtime Rhine sailings around Amsterdam feature bulb sailings past acres of tulips that only enhance the beauty of this destination. The Anne Frank House is the city's most popular attraction, where poignant exhibits include the Jewish schoolgirl's wartime diary. You'd also do well to stop by the Van Gogh Museum or to view Dutch masterpieces at the Rijksmuseum, including Rembrandt's "The Night Watch."

The Disney name is synonymous with family fun, so it's not a surprise that Adventures by Disney is easily the best Rhine River cruise line for families. These cruises venture beyond the Rhine to take in the sights along the Moselle and Main rivers. Boarding and disembarkation points vary, with some going, for example, from Luxembourg to Amsterdam via Trier, Bernkastel-Kues, Cochem, Koblenz (via the Moselle), Mainz, Rudesheim and Cologne.
